The Skald's Black Verse is a promising start to a trilogy, but unfortunately didn't grab me the way I wish it had. The setting is interesting, but undeveloped, and the POV characters are a bit one-note and uninteresting.
This is another one of those classic Flash games that's been given a little bit of a facelift and ported over to Steam. Unlike Sonny and Crush the Castle, I didn't have any prior experience with this one.
Volume 2 of Berserk is a nice step up from Volume 1, with the story getting some more depth and the characters getting some room to breathe in between the crazy depictions of violence.

Pretty good historical fiction covering a relatively underappreciated time in history. This series follows Antonio, the son of a knight executed for false crimes, who falls in with Rodrigo de Vivar, known as El Cid.
